I actually just want to thank you for creating this wonderful archive. I was the Program Manager for a cable access TV Station from 2009 - 2013 - and I downloaded many of your TV episode posts to run on the station between our own original content programs.
I ran "Uncle Earl's Cartoon Carnival" on Saturday mornings, a "Frighty Night Theatre" Horror show late Friday nights, Sunday daytime Game Shows - almost all of the content came from your IA account.
In the process I learned to use the Internet Archive to store the station's original content and then learned how to use embed codes and built a content library of streaming embedded videos on the station web site.
That inspired me to create a personal non-profit Classic TV streaming site called Uncle Earl's Classic TV Channel (named after that Saturday cartoon show) which has been around since 2010 and is the most popular web site I ever created.
http://www.solie.org/ClassicTV/
I get several thousand visits to the site daily - I don't make any money with it, but I get a lot of satisfaction from the nice comments on my Facebook page :-)
None of that would have happened if I had not stumbled onto your IA items when I was looking for Public Domain content for the TV station. Almost all of the TV series' I posted to the Uncle Earl site in the early years were from your account.
Eventually, I branched out and started including content from other streaming services - YouTube, Hulu. Dailey Motion, etc. - but to this day a substantial portion of the Classic TV shows presented on my site are from your account.
So thank you for your work creating this archive.
Regards,
Earl Oliver

It all started when I was trying to move my files from cd to dvd storage and had them in the computer and it so happened IA was the place I truly wanted them. Back then sharing was snail mail or sites like X drive I drive Myspace etc. nothing permanent as the access would expire at so point. The files I shared were the work of many many many good people.

The 'Bob and Ray For The Truly Desperate' collection was also in part due to seeing your uploads here at the Internet Archive.
Thanks very much.
